I recently completed a dissertation on data visualisation and its effects on human perception and thought: understandingdata.manofscience.co.uk

I also looked at the emergence of the zooming user interface in parallel with the ability to handle data at ever increasing levels of detail. For this reason I decided to present my dissertation within a zooming user interface, typeset in a fractal fashion, with image detail and relevant information at many zoom levels.
